Sunspot
You are the moon to my sun
and you think I'm lucky.
I burn hotter than imagination.
But point your telescope
and I am a stain.
Spent coal in the white glow.
I stare around me
and it leaves me blind.
I see myself I see nothing.
The sky is black above me
except for you.
Shine your mirror so I can see.
You are the moon to my sun
and you think I'm lucky.
I burn hotter than imagination.
But point your telescope
and I am a stain.
Spent coal in the white glow.
I stare around me
and it leaves me blind.
I see myself I see nothing.
The sky is black above me
except for you.
Shine your mirror so I can see.
